HTC Desire CDMA is a decently made Android cellphone, having a fast 1 GHz processor, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 3.7" multi-touch screen.
The HTC Desire CDMA feels a bit heavy for a device of this size, with a weight of 4.76 ounces.
HTC packed this cellphone with a nice 3.7 inches screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, making everything look very good. Its screen uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
HTC decided to sell this phone with a good performance 1 GHz processor, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7627A system chip and only 384 MB RAM memory. Graphic calculations generally uses a lot of CPU time, so it uses an Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU clocking at 200 MHz to unload the CPU.
This cellphone only has a 5 MP back camera. Additionally, the camera counts with flash.
The HTC Desire CDMA uses a mid sized 1400 mAh Li-Ion removable battery providing the HTC Desire CDMA with a poor battery life. HTC afirms this device has a 136 hs stand by time and a 6.5 hours talk time.
The HTC Desire CDMA has wifi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G data connection, using EV-DO A technologies. This cellphone doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM networks and it works with CDMA carriers.
The HTC Desire CDMA also includes a few interesting features like Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
HTC is offering this cellphone for $ 200, which is a high price for comparing with other similar cellphones.
