HTC Wildfire S Review

HTC Wildfire S is a decent phone released back in 2011, which features a 3.2-inches screen, a quite powerful processor running at 600 MHz and a 5 MP back facing camera. We will get a better idea about this phone's specs when we get into specific details.

HTC decided to power this device using a good processor speeding at 600 MHz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227 system chip and 512 MB of RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually eats lots of CPU processing time, so it has an extra Adreno 200 GPU ticking at 128 megahertz to unload the CPU.

This cellphone counts with a medium capacity 1230 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep this device running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate use. HTC afirms this cellphone has a talk time of 7.1 hs and a stand by time of 360 hours.

This cellphone has wifi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a wireless modem or router) and fast 3G connection type, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This cellphone also includes a handful of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (3.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

HTC sells the HTC Wildfire S for 199 dollars, which is very expensive for a cellphone this level.
