HTC Wildfire S Review

HTC Wildfire S is a mid level cellphone released back in the year 2011, featuring a CPU running at 600 megahertz, a 3.2 inches multi touch display and a 5 mega-pixels back camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's only the beginning of this in-depth review.

Apparently HTC forgot about optimizing the weight in this 3.7 ounces phone. HTC made the HTC Wildfire Savailable only in pink and gray.

HTC packed this cellphone with a interesting 3.2 inches screen, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , which makes everything look quite nice. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

HTC decided to power this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227 system chip, which holds a powerful 600 megahertz CPU with 512 MB of RAM memory. To help with graphic rendering, it also uses an Adreno 200 graphic processing unit clocking at 128 MHz.

This phone features wi-fi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a modem) and 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Wildfire S works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This phone is equipped with only a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. This phone can also film 720x480 videos at 24 frames per second. This camera also features auto-focus and flash.

This cellphone also comes with a handful of useful features such as Bluetooth (3.0, EDR) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device features a 1230 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this cellphone a quite short battery durationcompared to other phones. HTC reports a 360 hours stand by time and a 7.1 hours talk time for this device.

This phone costs $ 199, which is a really high price for a device this level.
