Nokia C3 Touch and Type is a low end phone launched in September 2010, equipped with a 800 MHz processing unit, a small sized 2.4 inches touch-screen and a 5 MP back side camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's just the introduction of a much deeper review.
The Nokia C3 Touch and Type is quite thin and comfortable, but it's not so slim as many other cellphones you can find, with a thickness of 0.43 inches. This phone isn't really a compact phone, given that it is 4.37 inches long and 1.87" wide, but it only holds a 2.4" display. This cellphone is available in 2 different color options, yellow and gray. The Nokia C3 Touch and Type feels a bit heavy comparing to other cellphones , with a weight of 3.53 oz.
This cellphone is equipped with an average 320 x 240 (QVGA) 2.4 inches screen, which makes all photos and videos look nice. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it's not multi-touch.
Nokia decided to design the Nokia C3 Touch and Type using a powerful 800 megahertz processing unit and just 64 MB RAM. Helping with graphic intensive apps, it also uses a 320 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphic processing unit. This cellphone counts with a 30,72 MB internal storage, a small amount that might be adequate for some basic users having that it also has an external SD slot to store songs, photos and videos.
This phone has Wi-Fi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Nokia C3 Touch and Type uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.
This cellphone has only a 5 megapixels back camera. This cellphone also captures 640x480 VGA videos at 15 frames per second, and slow-motion videos in (QVGA) (320x240) at 20 fps. Additionally, the camera includes flash.
The Nokia C3 Touch and Type counts with a 1050 mAh low capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a demanding phone like this. Nokia reports a talk time of 5.6 hs and a stand by time of 408 hs for this phone.
This phone also features Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), and Accelerometer.
This cellphone is not very cheap considering it is sold for 399 dollars, and many similar devices cost a lot less than that.
