Samsung Galaxy Xcover is a fair quality phone launched back in the year 2011, packing a 3.2 megapixels back side camera, a 3.6-inches multi-touch screen and a powerful processing unit speeding at 800 megahertz.
This device is 4.8" long, but it's only able to pack a way smaller 3.6 inches display. Samsung only sells the Xcover in gray color. This cellphone isn't very light for a cellphone of this size, with a weight of 4.8 ounces.
Samsung designed the Xcover with a interesting 3.6-inches display, and a 480 x 320 resolution, providing this cellphone with a regular image quality. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
Samsung decided to build this device with a good 800 MHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM. This phone has a little 163,84 MB internal memory, which might be enough for some users considering that the Xcover also has an SD extension slot to store photos and videos.
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover only has a 3.2 megapixels back-facing camera. It can also capture 640x480 VGA videos at 30 frames per second. This cellphone also includes flash.
The Xcover uses a 1500 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion battery that provides this phone a poor battery life. Samsung says this phone has a 500 hs stand by time and a 15 hs talk time.
This device counts with wifi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover also comes with a few nice features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
This phone is being sold for 115 dollars, which is a very high price for comparing with other similar devices.
