Toshiba Excite 13 is a mid-end Android tablet device launched back in 2012, packed with a very fast 1.5 GHz Quad-Core CPU, a really big 13.3-inches screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. Let's take a better sight of what this tablet can do.
This time, it seems like Toshiba decided not to care much about the weight in this 35.2 ounces tablet. This tablet is very slim and looks really nice, but it's not close to being one of the thinnest tablets you can find, with a thickness of 0.4". This tablet only has 13.5 inches long and 8.5 inches wide, but it still manages to hold a 13.3" display.
The Toshiba Excite 13 is equipped with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip, including an extremely powerful 1.5 gigahertz Quad-Core processor and only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit poor comparing with its awesome processing power. The Toshiba Excite 13 has an excellent 32 GB internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing the user to install hundreds of applications and even the largest games available nowadays without worrying about running out of space at all.
This tablet features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. It also films videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). In addition, this portable tablet's camera also includes flash.
This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This tablet features Wi-Fi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Toshiba Excite 13 doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled tablet.
The Toshiba Excite 13 also comes with a handful of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and Accelerometer.
The Toshiba Excite 13 is really expensive considering it costs $ 649, while other similar tablets are being sold for much less than that.
