LG Optimus L1 II Review

LG Optimus L1 II is a decent phone, with a 2 mega-pixels back facing camera, a small 3 inches multi-touch screen and a processor clocking at 1 gigahertz.

LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.7 oz phone. This cellphone is for sale in 2 colors, black and white. This cellphone is 4.05 inches long, but it is only able to hold a much smaller 3" screen.

Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

LG decided to build the LG Optimus L1 II using a powerful CPU ticking at 1 GHz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7225A-AB chip with 512 MB RAM memory. Graphic intensive tasks usually eats lots of CPU cycles, so it has an additional Adreno 200 GPU ticking at 128 MHz to help handle those graphic tasks. This phone counts with a passable 4 GB internal storage, which is quite good having that it also has an SD card slot to store pictures and videos.

This phone counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM services.

This cellphone has only a 2 mega-pixels back camera. Additionally, the camera counts with smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

The LG Optimus L1 II packs a good 1540 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing the LG Optimus L1 II with a quite short battery duration. LG reports a talk time of 5.5 hours and a stand by time of 350 hours for this phone.

This phone also comes with a handful of cool features such as Bluetooth (3.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The LG Optimus L1 II is really overpriced considering it is priced 95 dollars, while some similar phones are being sold much cheaper than that. LG packs the LG Optimus L1 II with charger, Battery, headset and manual and data cable.
