This cellphone is much lighter than what you would expect from a phone like this. The Palm Pixi Plus is very slim and comfortable, though it's not as slim as many other phones out there, with a thickness of 0.43 inches. The Palm Pixi Plus isn't a compact cellphone, taking into consideration it is 4.37" long,but it only contains a 2.6 inches display.
Palm equipped the Palm Pixi Plus with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7627 system chip, which holds a powerful megahertz processing unit. To handle graphic calculations, this cellphone also uses an Adreno 200 graphic processing unit clocking at 128 MHz. This cellphone comes with aquite big 8 GB internal storage memory and while it doesn't have a slot for external memory cards, it should be enough to install a couple hundred applications, but it may not be enough if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games available nowadays.
This phone only features a 2 megapixels back camera. The camera also includes flash.
Palm packed this phone with a good level 2.6 inches screen, and a 400 x 320 resolution, which makes all photos and videos look good. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The Palm Pixi Plus features Wi-Fi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G data connection, over EV-DO A technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled cellphone and it can work with CDMA carriers.
This cellphone also comes with a couple nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and a few sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
