Toshiba Thrive is a decent quality Android tablet, which counts with a huge 10.1-inches multi-touch display, a Dual-Core CPU running at 1 GHz, and 2 cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera. But let's get into more detail.
The Toshiba Thrive ships with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 system chip, packing a fast Dual-Core processing unit running at 1000 MHz and 1 GB RAM memory. A great aspect of this tablet is the 32 GB large internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, which allows the user to store tons of applications, games, photos and videos without worrying about filling it.
This tablet isn't very light comparing with today standards, weighting 25.57 ounces. The Toshiba Thrive is quite thick for nowadays standards, with a thickness of 0.62 inches. While this tablet just has 10.75" long, it manages to contain a 10.1 inches screen.
Toshiba designed the Toshiba Thrive with a nice 10.1 inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , making everything look quite vivid. This display uses LED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. It is capable of capturing videos up to 1280x720 (HD). This camera also has auto-focus.
This tablet provides wifi capability (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Toshiba Thrive works with a SIM card to use GSM services.
The Toshiba Thrive also features a couple nice features like Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
The Toshiba Thrive is really overvalued considering it is sold for 300 dollars, and some similar tablets are offerred way cheaper than that.
