ZTE Source Review

ZTE Source is a bit outdated Android device, coming with a medium 4.5-inches multi-touch screen, a Dual-Core processor speeding at 1200 MHz, and two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 1.2 MP front side camera.

This cellphone's thickness (0.4") is a little bit far from current standards, but it still feels in the user's hand. The ZTE Source is available only in color black. This cellphone isn't very light for a cellphone this size, with a weight of 5.5 ounces.

ZTE decided to equip this cellphone using a QualComm Snapdragon MSM8930 chip, backed up by a powerful 1200 MHz Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually consume lots of processing power, so it also has a 450 MHz Adreno 305 graphics processing unit to take some work out of the processor.

This phone has a good looking 854 x 480 4.5" screen, which makes all images and videos look vivid. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 megapixels front facing camera. This cellphone can also capture videos in 1280x720 (HD). This camera also has flash.

This phone provides Wi-Fi capability (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a wireless router), 4G LTE high speed data connection and 3G connection type, supported by EV-DO A technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections and it works in CDMA networks.

This phone uses a 2070 mAh incredible Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this device running for several hours, but you may need to charge it if you use it too much. ZTE informs a stand by time of 250 hs and a talk time of 15.2 hs for this cellphone.

The ZTE Source also includes a couple cool characteristics such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other phones and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is not a good choice considering it is sold for 95 dollars, while many similar phones cost much less than that.
