This cellphone is a bit heavy comparing to other cellphones , weighting 3.88 oz. This cellphone's thickness (0.45") is a bit far from nowadays standards, but it still feels quite comfortable in the user's hand. This device isn't a very compact cellphone, taking into consideration it is 3.87 inches long and 2.65 inches wide,but it just contains a 2.8 inches display.
The Motorola CHARM is equipped with a good level 240 x 320 (QVGA) 2.8-inches screen, providing this cellphone with a nice image quality. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
